Optical Fiber
Optical fiber means solid or plastic fiber that guides light. It is made primarily from quartz and silicone (SiO2) and Germania (GeO2). It is glass fiber which is as thin as 125㎛, light and bendable. It is also highly resistant against noise, involves little loss and broad bandwidth, making it suitable for all types of communication infrastructure including subscriber network.
